Abu Khalid.. From list of needy to a career worker

Abu Khalid's family suffered 5 years of displacement, they are from Kernaz town in Hama countryside, they family consists of 4 children, two of them are with disabilities

Khalid and Hala, two painful stories the family has been living for 14 years with all its tragicl details. Khalid is 14 years old, he was a sound and healthy child, his family did not know that he has a disease that damaged his cornea which resulted in almost losing his ability to see.

Hala a 7-year-old beautiful girl. She has brain paralysis that made her always resting in bed unable to move

Worries and troubles burdened Abu Khalid, the head of the family, he narrated his story with huge faith in Allah's predestination when He granted him his children:

their trearment and taking care of them costed him alot until he was not able to afford food for his family some days because of the difficult situation

With help from his wife and the project's profits which reached around 130usd per month, brother Basil was able to expand his project by bringing foodstuff, canned food, nuts, and honey to his shop

At the end, brother Basil succeeded, with Allah's help, in bringing all types of fruits and vegetables so the shop became a small supermarket that contains almost everything

Basil said: "My success started when I went to work and stopped isolating myself. I did not forget the tough conditions that I went through, as a result I sell with a small amount of profit considering poor people. And I give some of the profit, around 10 usd mobthly, to my siblings. I consider my success story of this project and helping others as a type of Islamic solidarity and achieving benefit for everyone"
