So be content when you do it.”

Project Overview

Since the beginning of the severe humanitarian crisis that Syrian people suffer from, hundreds of thousands of people there live miserably; they eat whatever food they get which sometimes doesn’t look like edible food. Thousands of them forgot what meat tastes like because eating meat became far-fetched that many of them don’t even think of dreaming about.

Slaughtering a sacrificial animal (qurban) on Eid al-Adha is compulsory for anyone who is able to do it so those who cannot afford it can enjoy some of it. Our people in Syria need qurban the most, so Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia (INSAN CARE) launched “Qurban of Eid” project to distribute meat to people through our organization’s centers in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, Latakia countryside, and refugee camps in Turkey

This situation that led to deterioration of people’s living conditions including food and health as well as absence of safety and stability resulted in poverty. An increase in meat price was a result of siege that never showed mercy on children, elderly, or women, yet it opened the doors for pain, gloom, and soreness especially during events that are supposed to put a smile on their faces such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid- al-Adha. All of these make the importance of the project which can be presented in the following goals:

Project Services

Relieving people’s pain on Eid al-Adha

Performing the Islamic obligation during Eid al-Adha

Contributing in raising the level of food security

Reliable & Experienced

The project has accomplished great result and the majority of beneficiary were the most needy families which are classified to:

The poorest families.

Displaced families.

Families of widows and orphans.

Martyrs and detainees’ families.

Handicapped people’s families.

Such projects support people in need and offer as much help as possible, thus we become a cooperative society where the stronger supports the weaker.

It was narrated from ’Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The son of Adam does not do any deed on the Day of Sacrifice that is dearer to Allah than shedding blood.
